Exclusive: Juventus have formed new manager plan which could be 'bad news for Arsenal'

Exclusive with Graeme Bailey

There are going to be a number of managerial changes this summer.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are both going to change managers this summer, while there’s also a chance that Manchester United will be looking for a new gaffer.

Juventus are another team looking into a managerial change, and TBR Football now understand that The Old Lady have firmed up a managerial plan that could affect Arsenal.

Juventus’ managerial plan

TBR Football understands that Juventus are confident that Thiago Motta is set to become their new head coach – which could be bad news for Arsenal.

Our sources confirm that Juventus are advancing in their talks to make Motta their new head coach, replacing Max Allegri.

The highly-rated Bologna boss is also a target for AC Milan, and has been linked with Manchester United, but Juve are in pole position for Motta.

TBR has also been told that Motta is considering his options, but Juve have also made it clear they want to back him and with that they want to bring up to three of his current star names to the club with him – those being defender Riccardo Calafiori, Scottish midfield ace Lewis Ferguson and in-demand forward Joshua Zirkzee.

Zirkzee is emerging as one of Europe’s most wanted strikers with Arsenal paying close to attention to the Dutchman – as TBR confirmed last month.

Joshua Zirkzee could join Juventus

While Arsenal are keen on Zirkzee, it would make sense if the Dutchman were to join Juventus this summer.

Zirkzee is settled in Italy – he’s banging in the goals in Serie A at the moment, and he knows Motta well.

If Motta is going to head to Juventus, this could be one of his first signings in Turin, and, unfortunately, that may lead to Arsenal losing a bit of ground in the race for the striker’s signature.

Don’t be shocked if Zirkzee ends up at Juventus instead of Arsenal this summer.
