We’re getting closer to the summer transfer window, and a number of players within the Premier League will be gearing up to make moves.
Some will be dreaming of signing for a top club, while others will be scrambling to find somewhere to play more first-team football.
There are going to be outgoings at Liverpool this summer as several contracts are set to expire, including Thiago Alcantara’s.
The Spaniard is undoubtedly one of Liverpool’s most naturally talented players, but, sadly, due to fitness issues, he’ll be leaving the club this summer.
Speaking on The Debrief, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Thiago’s future, and he says that the midfielder is already reaching out to other clubs to discuss pre-contract agreements ahead of his contract expiring.

Jacobs shared what he knows about Thiago’s future and what he’s now doing.
“We know that Thiago Alcantara is already reaching out to people about pre-contracts ahead of the summer, and we’ve already touched on Joel Matip exiting,” Thiago said.
Thiago may struggle to find a new club
As talented a player as Thiago is, we can’t imagine that his search for a new club will be all that easy.
This is a player that hasn’t played regular football for two seasons now, and there are huge doubts around his ability to stay fit.
If the £20m midfielder does return to peak condition and is able to play every week, he’ll be one of the very best players on the transfer market this summer, but banking on a player like this to get fit and stay fit is a huge gamble.
We’d love to see Thiago back to his best strutting his stuff for a top club, but, sadly, it’s hard to envisage the midfielder returning to that sort of level and being able to stay fit.
