Realtor 'still has no clue' about real estate after 135 online lessons in property

Selling The OC star Alexandra “Ali” Harper is still talking about the HOA she had no clue about during a house sale. She was asked multiple questions by potential buyers on season 3, but couldn’t answer.

She made her Netflix debut on season 3 of the show, which fans believe she wanted to get on for fame rather than real estate. Ali Harper didn’t even know if a home had automatic blinds on Selling The OC.

Selling The OC’s Ali Harper

Alexandra Harper, nicknamed Ali, is the newbie on Selling The OC season 3. She was given 135 online lessons on real estate in Orange County, but couldn’t answer Jason Oppenheim‘s questions on them.

Based in Nashville, she is passionate about fashion, food and home finds. While lacking industry knowledge, Ali’s engagement and drama with co-workers have put her future with O Group at risk.

She recently got engaged to boyfriend Lucas England, but Harper has been experiencing health issues she’s more focused on, and is finding her footing in the Newport Beach market.

She ‘still has no clue’ on HOA

When showing a client round a home, they asked Ali if there was an HOA on the property, but she didn’t know. It got more awkward when they asked if the blinds were automatic, and she guessed they were.

Selling The OC’s Alexandra Harper is currently getting a real estate license in California is more of a marathon than a sprint, as she s she previously told Tudum, but she made some major strides recently.

“I’m waiting on the California Department of Real Estate to accept my application to take the exam, but the 135 hours [of prelicensing courses] are done,” she says. “I have my certificate. I’m so excited.”

Netflix fans think she wants fame

Selling The OC fans are convinced Harper didn’t want to become a realtor for The Oppenheim Group for property, but rather to gain fame by starring on the Netflix series.

One fan said, “She’s not good at being a real estate agent so far but she’s pretty good at reality TV I think. Funny confessionals, down-to-earth and “real” in contrast to the rich, fake California people.”

Another penned, “When Jason asked her simple real estate questions, she didn’t know any of it after 135 lessons online. Think she just wanted to be on the show.”
