'Get him in': Jamie O'Hara tells Man United to sack Ten Hag and appoint Premier League-winning manager now

Jamie O’Hara has made a managerial suggestion to Manchester United following their 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace.

Erik ten Hag‘s men were humiliated at Selhurst Park on Monday night. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell’s goals were sandwiched between a brace from Michael Olise in what was a brilliant performance from the Eagles.

Manchester United fans are not happy with how their side performed and some of them want Ten Hag gone. O’Hara has now suggested an alternative for the final four games of the season.

Jamie O’Hara makes Jose Mourinho to Manchester United claim

Manchester United have had a really poor season.

The Red Devils have won just 16 of their 35 games in the Premier League and following the defeat to Crystal Palace, they have dropped to eighth in the table – a place below Chelsea.

That is simply not good enough for a club as big as Manchester United, and this could force Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS to make some changes.

Erik ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford has been up in the air since the turn of 2024, and his job has come under even more scrutiny now.

There is a big chance the Dutchman will be shown the door once the current season comes to a close, and Jamie O’Hara has made a suggestion.

The talkSPORT pundit believes Manchester United should bring back Jose Mourinho for the final four games of this season. He feels that will strike fear in the Premier League’s two best managers, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta.

O’Hara wrote on X: “Get Jose (Mourinho) in for four games, that can’t go on, Pep and Arteta would be going ‘oh here we go’, do it Man Utd!”

There could be one positive for Manchester United if Jose Mourinho returns

Most Manchester United fans would not entertain the idea of bringing Jose Mourinho back to the club.

The Special One, who has won the Premier League title three times, spent nearly two-and-a-half years at the helm at Old Trafford, but things turned sour towards the end of his time there.

Not many fans would want to see him manage Manchester United again, but if Mourinho does come in, the Red Devils could have something to cheer about soon.

The Premier League season has been a disappointment for Manchester United, but they have made it to the final of the FA Cup.

Mourinho has his flaws, but we feel he has a much better chance of beating Manchester City at Wembley than Erik ten Hag does.

The Portuguese manager has a tremendous record in finals – 18 wins in 22 games.
