Italy prohibits use of its military aid for strikes on Russian territory

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani

“All the military equipment we send is intended for use solely within the territory of Ukraine,” Italian newspaper La Sicilia quotes Tajani.

“We do not provide a means that can be used outside of Ukraine. We are not at war with Russia

The minister also commented on French President Emmanuel Macron's suggestion of sending troops to Ukraine.

“I don't think Macron wants to go to war with Russia, ask him what he wants to do,” he said.

“NATO decisions are made by NATO, and we are part of NATO. We are not at war with Russia and against sending soldiers to fight the Russians.”
