'Something I said?' Lawrence O'Donnell laughs after Trump profanely trashes him

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell.

Lawrence O'Donnell had a laugh after he was singled out by former President Donald Trump while attending Tuesday's hush money hearing in Lower Manhattan.

"Trump posted this right after my show tonight," O'Donnell wrote in a tweet. "Must've been something I said."

Trump took a swipe at the MSNBC anchor's appearance in court.

"I spotted Ratings Challenged Lawrence O'Donnell, of MSDNC, in the Courthouse today," reads Trump's post on TruthSocial. "I haven't seen him in years. He looked like s---, a real loser."

Oddly, it wasn't O'Donnell's first time seated in the court gallery.

Last week, he was in court and he recalled a moment when the 45th president spotted him and they shared a moment.

"It seems Donald Trump wasn't really pleased to see me," O'Donnell told his viewers on his show "The Last Word." “I have my interpretation of what Donald Trump’s face and eyes were trying to say to me, and what drove him to create a final moment in the courtroom today that was worthy of New York Times reporting."

Trump was forced to endure the testimony from adult film star Stormy Daniels on Tuesday when she recounted a sexual encounter in 2006 at a Lake Tahoe golfing event.

Although Trump denies the encounter took place, he nonetheless paid $130,000 to buy her silence in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for president in the upcoming 2024 contest.

He has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges accusing him of falsifying business documents to hide the affair from the public while he made his first successful run for president.
