£69m player is now open to Premier League move, he’s refused to rule out Chelsea switch

Chelsea may not find it too difficult to sign one centre-forward this summer.

Nicolas Jackson, Chelsea‘s current first-choice striker, has quite a good goal record for a 22-year-old who has been at the club for less than 12 months.

He could easily get to 15 Premier League goals this season, netting 13 in 32 appearances so far.

Nevertheless, it still looks like the Blues are going to go out and buy a new No.9 in the upcoming transfer window.

Serie A striker could move to the Premier League this summer

Chelsea would love to have a centre-forward like Osimhen, most clubs would. He has scored 15 goals in 23 Serie A appearances this term.

However, if they cannot land the 25-year-old in the next transfer window, perhaps another No.9 from the Italian league could be an alternative.

According to HITC, AS Roma’s Tammy Abraham is open to returning to the Premier League this summer.

Abraham was, of course, once on Chelsea’s books. And in an interview with FourFourTwo last year, he refused to rule out a Stamford Bridge homecoming.

The Blues can re-sign him for £69m thanks to a buy-back clause, claims The Athletic. According to journalist Simon Phillips, some at Chelsea think he ticks a few boxes, so maybe a transfer is not impossible.

Premier League appealing to Tammy Abraham

Abraham has obviously played in the Premier League, arguably the strongest division in football, and thrived in it.

For example, during the 2019/20 season, the 26-year-old scored 15 goals in 34 outings. It is not a shock to hear that he is open to a return to England.

However, Chelsea’s eyes seem to be elsewhere at the moment. Therefore, do not expect any early moves for Abraham, who is on the club’s list of top 10 most expensive sales.
