Report: West Ham target 'unstoppable' attacker who was tipped to be good enough for Real Madrid

West Ham United are in talks to sign a highly-rated winger, according to a recent report.

David Moyes is set to depart The Hammers at the end of the season and Julen Lopetegui is the man readied to take over.

Whilst the manager saga enfolds, it seems the recruitment department are hard at work planning their summer business.

It has just come to light, that they have opened negotiations with a former Premier League star in what would be a sensational first addition of the window.

West Ham United in talks with Galatasaray winger Wilfred Zaha

West Ham are in talks to sign former Crystal Palace and current Galatasaray winger Wilfried Zaha, according to Fotomac.

The Turkish outlet claims that he is expected to leave at the end of the season, having not played in any of the last three games.

The 31-year-old was an unused substitute in two of those and in the other, he wasn’t even included in the matchday squad.

Despite this, Zaha has enjoyed a productive season, netting 10 goals whilst laying on five assists for the Turkish champions.

Wilfried Zaha would be perfect for West Ham United

Most Hammers fans will be familiar with Zaha after his marvellous spell at Crystal Palace, which saw him earn glowing plaudits.

In fact, former Palace owner Simon Jordon says the ‘unstoppable’ winger was good enough to play for Real Madrid.

That’s the level of player in question here and if West Ham are to land his signature this summer, what a signing he’d be.

Fans have often criticized the brand of football this term, but with a player of Zaha’s profile, he’ll certainly excite the London Stadium faithful.
