'Just a feeling': Gary Neville has now predicted the result of Man Utd vs Arsenal this weekend

Arsenal face Manchester United this weekend in what is a huge game for both teams.

Arsenal, of course, need to win to keep the pressure on Manchester City in the title race, while Manchester United could do with a win to sustain any chance of playing European football next season.

After a 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace earlier this week, United head into this game as serious underdogs. However, when making his prediction on Stick to Football, Gary Neville has backed his old side to get something here.

Gary Neville predicts Man Utd vs Arsenal

Neville spoke about this weekend’s game and how he thinks it will go.

“This season I think City beat United at Old Trafford, but Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham, Chelsea, Villa have all not won there. I’m just saying it’s almost as this game has been dismissed because United are that bad, which we all get, but it can be a graveyard Old Trafford.

“I still think Arsenal should win. But I’m not sure Arsenal are going to win. Do you know what I’m going to do? Arsenal should win but there’s a madness around Old Trafford and this game.

“Usually in a title race it doesn’t ordinarily work out as you think and I think if City win on Saturday and Arsenal draw then they could win the league and it won’t get to the last day, so I’m going to go 2-2. It’s just a feeling.

Old Trafford isn’t an easy place to go

Arsenal are a better team than Manchester United at the moment, there’s no doubt about that.

However, going to Old Trafford isn’t always about the quality of the players on the pitch.

That stadium can do strange things to opposition sides, and with Arsenal having history of crumbling in big moments in recent years, perhaps this is where the Gunners, once again, fall away.

Arsenal will be favourites to win this game, but it wouldn’t be a huge shock if United did manage to pinch a point, or even three, against their old rivals.
