Kathleen, a 37-year-old woman from the Philippine) is asking the big questions as she weighs up whether
mummy’s boy Jamie, a 33-year-old from London has the lifestyle she truly desires.
She ponders, “If I come to the UK, will I live in your mum’s house?” Kathleen also urges him to “be a man” while Jamie’s overprotective mother comments, “The perfect woman wouldn’t ask you for money.”
Jamie’s mum, who he lives with, warns her son, “Don’t let people walk over you.” Earlier in the 90 Day Fiance UK season 3 trailer, Jamie had travelled to meet Kathleen to “give her a big kiss on the lips”.
Charlotte and Johan face backlash
Charlotte, 34, from Southampton gets into a fiery disagreement with her mother on whether fiancé Johan, 21, from the Dominican Republic is genuine in his intentions with her ahead of plans for their wedding.
Her mum questions, “You’re not the sugar mummy, is it because he wants a ticket over here?” Charlotte, who says she “can’t believe she’s fallen in love with a 21-year-old, then tells cameras, “Here we go again.”
Charlotte describes Johan, who lives “on the other side of the world, as “so sexy” and jokes that sun cream is the “only protection she’ll be using” while she packs to go and visit him in Dominican Republic.
Ali tries to be romantic for Sam
Ali, 23, from Turkey, finds it difficult to navigate the cultural differences between him and Geordie lass Sam, 28, from Newcastle. “Babe, I try to be romantic, but you just kill it!” he tells her in the trailer.
They’re not the only couple facing issues. Nicole, 25, from Devon, contemplates the cultural differences of her, and boyfriend Taher, 25, from Egypt. He tells her she’ll “become a Muslim” later in the trailer.
She reveals, “There they have to ask permission from their husband, can I do this, can I do that?” Later on, Nicole admits she “may not” become a Muslim, to which Taher interrupts and says, “I was talking.”
