The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has increased to $331 million with a cash option of $153.1 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in the New York City area and Fox 29 in the Philadelphia area. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
While no one across the country hit Tuesday’s $306 million jackpot, three second-prize tickets were sold — each matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
Tickets bought in Arizona and Florida are worth $1 million each while a ticket purchased in California is valued at $419,367.
California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 26, 28, 36, 63 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 15 with a Megaplier of 3x.
Theodds of a $2 ticket winning the Mega Millions jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1.
Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize valued of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $36 million with a cash option of $16.8 million.
