'More to come from him': TalkSPORT man admits he's expecting bright future for £15m Nottingham Forest player

TalkSPORT pundit Tony Cascarino has admitted that he is expecting more to come from one of Nottingham Forest’s players next season.

Only two games remain for Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side to retain their Premier League status ahead of next season.

Nottingham Forest are going into their game later today against Chelsea at the City Ground knowing three points could be enough to earn survival.

Luton Town’s result will be in before Forest even kick a ball today and a defeat for the Hatters could prove enough for Forest to realistically know they are safe.

The huge gap between the two sides on goal difference is almost acting like an extra point for Forest but they will be aware they cannot afford a big slip up against Chelsea today.

There have been some impressive individual performances from Nuno’s side this season with the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood proving seriously influential.

However, there is another player whom the TalkSPORT pundit is expecting more to come from next season.

Who Tony Cascarino is expecting big thing from at Forest

A turbulent campaign at Forest is coming to a close but there is still an awful lot resting on these final two games.

West Ham winning in the 3pm kick-off against Luton could make proceedings a lot less stressful this afternoon at the City Ground.

But Forest will be keen to kick on from a positive result last weekend which saw Callum Hudson-Odoi shine against Sheffield United.

The winger was able to get on the scoresheet twice against the Blades but it is another forward who Cascarino has tipped for big things.

Speaking on TalkSPORT on Saturday morning, the former Chelsea man admitted he’s expecting more to come from Anthony Elanga.

“There have been times over the season where you look Awoniyi upfront who has done really well but then got injured, and had a bit of a problem up front. Hudson-Odoi, as the season has wore on, he has got better and better,” he said.

“In the last few months or so, he has played really well for Forest. I think Elanga has sort of settled in, but there is more to come from him.”

What Michael Dawson has also said about Anthony Elanga recently

Cascarino is not the only pundit who has been left impressed by the former Manchester United winger.

Sky Sports man and former Forest defender Michael Dawson has also been left impressed by the £15m winger in recent weeks.

After making the move from Old Trafford in the summer, Elanga has been able to return a seriously impressive five goals and eight assists in the Premier League alone.

Speaking about the 22-year-old, Dawson has admitted he’s been left seriously wowed.

“I think Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi were absolutely magnificent. They will terrify defenders – we’re talking about Kyle Walker here,” he said after the recent defeat against Manchester City.
