Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has named the settlements where defense operations are currently underway.

"Today, we are primarily focusing on the frontline situation in those areas of our country where there is the greatest risk of Russian offensive," the president emphasized.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian military defensive operations continue in the Kharkiv region, namely in the villages of Strilecha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliynykove, Lukyantsi, Hatyshche, and Pletenivka.

"These are border villages. Our troops have been conducting counterattacks there for two days now, defending Ukrainian territory," the head of state said.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the situation in the Donetsk region, in particular in the Pokrovsk direction - Semenivka and Netaylove - remains particularly tense.

"There are more than 30 military clashes there every day. It is extremely difficult. Of course, we are paying attention to all other areas of our defense actions: Kupiansk, Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Vremivka," he added.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

Yesterday, on May 10, Russian troops intensified their offensive in the border areas of the Kharkiv region. The invaders tried to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As of today, fighting continues along the border and in the so-called "gray zone". According to recent reports, there are already two "gray zones" in the Kharkiv region.
