In one of the frontline areas, the enemy has achieved partial success. However, in other sectors, Ukrainian forces are pushing back the adversary and improving their tactical position, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Telegram.

As noted by the commander, intense battles are ongoing along the Kupiansk, Siversk, Lyman, and Pokrovsk directions, with the situation rapidly evolving.

"In some areas, the enemy has achieved partial success, while in others, our defense forces are pushing them back and improving their tactical position," Syrskyi reported.

Additionally, the adversary continues its attempts to advance towards Chasiv Yar on the Kramatorsk direction. Russian forces are persisting with offensive actions east of the city. Moreover, occupiers are striving to regain lost ground in the Klyshchiivka area near Bakhmut.

"Despite the challenging frontline situation, unit rotations are being conducted to provide rest for servicemen and restore brigade combat readiness," added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Frontline situation

Currently, Russians are concentrating efforts on several fronts. They seek to advance towards the city of Chasiv Yar, which would open a path towards the Kramatorsk conurbation.

Furthermore, occupiers are pressing on the Avdiivka direction, where heavy fighting persists.

This week, Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses in the north of the Kharkiv region. According to DeepState service data, Russians may have entered six settlements near the border.

According to Syrskyi, the situation in Kharkiv region has intensified, with battles ongoing in border areas.
