Frustrated Manchester United fans had a lot to say about Alejandro Garnacho after the Red Devils winger’s performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils welcomed Premier League title challengers Arsenal to the Theatre of Dreams after their 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday.
However, Erik ten Hag’s men were unable to thwart the Gunners’ Premier League title challenge and slipped to their second consecutive league defeat.
Leandro Trossard broke the deadlock at Old Trafford in the first half, with Mikel Arteta’s men seeing out a 1-0 advantage until the full-time whistle.
Manchester United were unable to rally back into the contest, with Alejandro Garnacho’s display against the Gunners raising eyebrows among fans.
Garnacho’s performance vs Arsenal
Alejandro Garnacho has shown his brilliance at times in the Premier League season and is considered an important long-term prospect at Manchester United.
The 19-year-old Spain-born winger has made 46 appearances across all competitions this season and scored nine times and registered five assists.
Despite a relatively impressive campaign at Old Trafford, Garnacho deeply frustrated United fans with his overall performance against the Gunners.
Garnacho started in attack alongside Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund, with the Argentina international appearing lively and a constant part of the United threat.
However, the Argentina winger appeared tired as the match went on and Garnacho made questionable decision-making against the Gunners in the final third.

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, dropped their two cents on Garnacho’s overall performance at Old Trafford.
One Red Devils supporter claimed that Garnacho ‘killed’ a lot of United’s attacks against Arsenal, while another said he was “absolutely infuriating” to watch.
Some United fans, on the other hand, were shocked by his “end product” and even claimed that it was Garnacho’s “worst performance” of the season.
“Alejandro Garnacho is a fine promising footballer, but he needs to work on his finishing. Today’s decision-making is terrible,” one fan said.
Another added: “Very, very frustrating performance from Garnacho. Awful decision-making around the box.”
“Garnacho ‘killed’ so many of our attacks today,” a third argued.
Someone else claimed: “Definitely the worst performance I’ve seen Garnacho play all season, his end product was shocking.”
While a fifth tweeted: “Garnacho has singlehandedly ruin[ed] everything in our attack all [match vs Arsenal].”
And a sixth posted: “Garnacho has been such a let-down today. Biggest threat but zero end product.”
“Garnacho, brother, that was one of the worst displays I’ve seen this season,” another commented.
An eighth said: “Garnacho has been absolutely infuriating today.”
