'I needed money': Giuliani whines about 'financial difficulties' after losing radio show

YouTube/screen grab

Rudy Giuliani, a former New York City mayor who represented Donald Trump in court, said Sunday that his "financial difficulties" had worsened after losing his radio show.

On a Sunday YouTube livestream, Giuliani said that WABC had ended his radio show after breaking station rules forbidding him to talk about the 2020 election and Dominion Voting Systems, which is suing the former mayor.

"I was never warned not to talk about the 2020 election," he complained. "Even about Dominion, I think once they came to me and reminded me, I mentioned Dominion. Most of the time, I picked it up, and I apologized for it."

"I have in great depth discussed the case in Georgia with the $145 million unjust verdict," Giuliani revealed, referring to a defamation lawsuit he lost. He candidly admitted the lawsuit left him with "financial difficulties."

"You say to yourself, why are they doing it to me now after I've been continuously talking about this for the last four and a half years or in the case of Atlanta since the verdict?" he asked. "The reasons are really quite despicable."

"But they did it to me at a time in which they knew that I could be in a position where I needed money," he later added. "And I think they assumed that I'm like them and that I sell my soul for money."
