A WOMAN is to go on trial for assaulting another female.
Jillian Knowlton appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 3.
The 46-year-old, of Walton Way, Newbury, is accused of assaulting Sarah Fisher by beating her in Newbury on October 11 last year.
Ms Knowlton, who was legally represented at the hearing by Robert Jacques, spoke only to confirm her details and to plead not guilty to the single charge.
She was told the case could proceed no further that day and that it would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.
Ms Knowlton was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
