Meghan Markle changes 'quickly' after being told she needs to 'fit in' on unofficial 'tour'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just completed their ‘unofficial royal tour’ of Nigeria, and the Duchess showed off her incredible fashion, which she admitted to ‘switching up’ at the last minute.

It’s been a busy week for Prince Harry, who returned to the UK for a tenth-anniversary service for the Invictus Games. Meghan Markle wasn’t by his side during the trip, and he didn’t see any members of the royal family during the short stay. Before he arrived, many believed he’d make a visit to see his father, King Charles, although was unable to due to the monarch’s ‘full program’.

The couple attended many engagements together during the trip, however, the Duchess left her husband briefly to attend a panel event focusing on Women in Leadership.

Markle stunned in a bright red dress for the event, which is said to have been “ethically” created by Nigerian designer Orire, although it was a last-minute decision.

Calling her first 24 hours since arrival an “absolute whirlwind” the mom of two told the crowd: “I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more color so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion.”

Harry and Meghan landed in Abuja, Nigeria on Friday morning and had a full schedule during their time in the West African country.

On their final day, the couple visited a school in Lagos, where they played a game of basketball with the children.

Despite suspicions, their two children, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet did not join them on the trip, however, the Duchess did express her love toward the pair during her trip.

The Duchess says she ‘loves’ being a mom

During the panel, on Saturday afternoon, the mom of two made the most adorable comment about Archie and Lilibet.

She was asked for advice on how women juggle motherhood with their careers, to which the former Suits actress responded: “I love being a mum, I love being a mum.”

She then recalled a conversation she had with Bonnie Hammer, who runs NBCUniversal around the time she had just started on the hit TV, in which she asked the same question.

“And I asked her that exact question. I said, ‘How do you find the balance?’ And she said, ‘You don’t, you’ll never find the balance.'”

“Being a mum has always been a dream of mine. And I’m so fortunate that we have two beautiful, healthy, very chatty sweet children,” the Duchess sweetly concluded.
