‘Sources say’: Larry Henry Jr delivers transfer update on Cameron Carter-Vickers Celtic fans will love

Celtic’s success means that there will always be ongoing interest in their players.

What also helps is the amount of television coverage Celtic get as many of our domestic games are shown live on Sky Sports and Champions League fixtures on TNT Sports.

So it’s little wonder that when the team plays well and is winning trophies, our players get admiring glances from some of the biggest leagues in Europe.

And Cameron Carter-Vickers is no different.

Turkish clubs want Cameron Carter-Vickers

Larry Henry Jr is a journalist who enjoys a close relationship with Cameron Carter-Vickers. So when he tweeted this transfer update on the Celtic defender yesterday, it really caught my attention.

Not the part where there is transfer interest because a player like Carter-Vickers will court admiring glances because of the quality he possesses.

But what is really pleasing is how happy the Hoops defender is at Celtic. For too long Carter-Vickers bounced from club to club with loan spells as he found it tough to break into the Spurs side.

However, after a season-long loan at Celtic, the former Tottenham man found a home.

As well as winning trophies, Carter-Vickers has seen his international career flourish with more call-ups than ever before he joined Celtic. He is undoubtedly one of the best players in Scotland.

So whilst there may well be interest from other clubs, Carter-Vickers seems to know that his decision to pick up his career at Celtic has been one of the best decisions he has ever made.

And with Champions League group-stage football all but guaranteed next season, the US defender has a lot to look forward to with Celtic.
