German broadcasting and media firm ProSiebenSat.1 on Tuesday posted adjusted net income of €8 million ($8.6 million) for the first quarter of the year compared to a loss of €15 million in the same period last year.
Further, the company said adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew by 35% to €72 million. Revenue increased to €867 million from €816 million in the same period last year.
In organic terms, Group revenues increased by 7%. External revenues in the Entertainment segment increased to €554 million, up 5% on the previous year, ProSiebenSat.1 company said.
Looking forward, the company confirmed its full-year outlook for all key figures.
