According to Tutto Juve, Arsenal are ‘ready to rout’ Juventus for the signing of Martin Zubimendi, who is quickly emerging as Arteta’s main midfield target heading into the summer window.

As per the report, the Spanish international has a release clause worth €60m (£50m), with Arsenal ready to test the waters early with a €50m (£40m) offer for the Real Sociedad maestro in the coming days.

With Arteta reportedly keen on signing a new midfield partner for Declan Rice, Zubimendi could be the man who fully unlocks Arsenal’s true potential heading into next season.

And with the Gunners seemingly already putting in a bid to sign Zubimendi, Arteta and Arsenal look ready to complete their summer business early ahead of what will be a busy pre-season.
