Evacuation alert for Sumy's 10-km border as Russian shelling intensifies

Last year’s planned evacuation was announced for a 5-kilometer zone, which included 115 settlements.

More than 12,500 people have been evacuated, including about 2,000 children.

Russian attacks in Kharkiv Oblast will continue "for another three to four days," after which Russian troops are expected to "make a hard push in the direction of Sumy," Ukraine’s spy chief Kyrylo Budanov said earlier.
