David Beckham has insisted that three Manchester United legends perfectly embodied a core part of the Red Devils’ identity during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
One of the famed members of the ‘Class of ‘92,’ the 49-year-old former Manchester United superstar enjoyed a prolific playing career at Old Trafford.
David Beckham, who retired from football in 2013, catapulted to superstardom during his time under legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The United legend was a key part of Ferguson’s legendary teams of the past and was a devastating attacking threat for the Red Devils out on the wing.
Beckham lifted six Premier League titles, a Champions League and two FA Cups with United before he completed a blockbuster move to Real Madrid in 2003.
The former United winger lifted a La Liga title with Los Blancos before he left Real Madrid and signed for LA Galaxy in 2007.

Beckham, who spent time on loan at AC Milan during his run with LA Galaxy, saw out the remainder of his prolific career with Paris Saint-Germain before retiring.
The ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United star has spoken openly about his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson and how he saw him as a father figure.
Ferguson bowed out of Old Trafford as a manager in 2013 after he led United to their last Premier League title in the 2012-13 season.
The 82-year-old Scotsman had a remarkable impact in the Premier League, with Ferguson ushering in a period of dominance for the Red Devils in English football.
However, United have struggled to return to the top of English football in the aftermath of Ferguson’s retirement.
Speaking to the Talk of the Devils podcast, Beckham insisted that it was “always going” to be difficult for United when Ferguson made his departure from the club.
“I think it has been a difficult time over the last five or ten years, but it was always going to be when the boss left the club,” he said, as per The Athletic.

Ineos chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who became co-owner of United after his minority stake purchase, has been keen to restore the prestige of the club after his arrival at Old Trafford.
United face an uphill battle in finding major success like they did in the Ferguson era, with manager Erik ten Hag currently enduring a turbulent season at the club.
Beckham argued that Ferguson’s departure from Old Trafford was not the only thing that significantly impacted the Red Devils.
The Inter Miami co-owner and president singled out United legends Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane and Gary Neville as players who were part of the club’s core identity.
“It wasn’t just that, we lost players like Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane and Gary Neville, all of these players that had been at United for so long; you lose part of that and you lose part of the club,” Beckham continued.
“So it was always going to be a difficult time. But we’d like it to change pretty quickly because I think it’s gone on for too long now.”
