What is Jhon Arias’ age and height?

Arias was born on September 21, 1997. At the time of writing this makes him 26 years old. The Colombian also stands at 1.7 metres tall which is five foot seven inches.

What position can he play?

Arias is mainly a left winger. However, the Colombian is also extremely versatile and can play as an attacking midfielder, centre-forward and on the right flank.

After playing for a host of Colombian clubs throughout his career, Arias finally moved across the border into Brazil. Here, the winger makes his trade for Fluminense, who he has played for since 2021.

What are Jhon Arias’ statistics?

In Brazil, the 26-year-old has been highly prolific. So far this campaign he has netted six goals as well as collected three assists in 23 games. This includes finding the net in the Club World Cup semi-finals as they went on to be defeated by Man City in the final.

Throughout his career at Fluminense, Arias has now played over 100 times for the club and become one of their most prominent players.

Does he play for Colombia?

His form for Fluminense eventually got recognised for his country. In 2022, Arias was given his first cap for Colombia.

At the time of writing, the winger now sits on 12 caps and has netted once. His only goal came in a 3-2 victory over Romania in a friendly match in March 2024.

With Wolves circling the question on many fan’s lips will be how much are Fluminense asking for the winger?

O’Neil’s side reportedly doesn’t have a big budget for the summer and may have to sell to buy.

Luckily, according to a recent report by the Daily Record, Fluminense are looking for at least €10 million and a future sell-on fee.

Wolves will have to fight off plenty of teams to acquire Arias’ signature. According to Canal RCN Premier League sides West Ham, Crystal Palace and Burnley, alongside Rangers, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray are also interested.
