Piers Morgan now predicts winner of Man City v West Ham in latest Arsenal title verdict

Piers Morgan has now predicted the winner of Manchester City’s clash with West Ham with Arsenal still having a chance of clinching the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola’s side took a big step in claiming a fourth English championship in a row with a 2-0 win away to Tottenham, with Jamie Carragher highlighting this game as the one that Arsenal fans will be cursing for years.

With City hosting West Ham on the final day of the season, all signs point to the Manchester giants claiming yet another easy victory and going on to win the Premier League title once again, with Arsenal having to settle for second.

Yet Morgan has predicted a different outcome for this Sunday’s fixture.

West Ham tipped to beat Manchester City to hand Arsenal the title

Taking to Twitter, the broadcaster suggested that West Ham have what it takes to beat City, with Morgan writing: “West Ham will beat City on Sunday… as a thank you to Declan.”

With City not losing a Premier League home game since November 2022, it would take some effort from West Ham to break this streak considering that the Irons have nothing to play for on Sunday.

Indeed, Arsenal fans have already been burnt this season in putting their hope in rival clubs to get results against City, with Wolves, Fulham and now Tottenham all failing in their missions to take points off the Manchester giants.

And this weekend will likely see West Ham follow a similar path, with City now on a clear path to the title that once again see Arsenal miss out on the Premier League by the slimmest of margins.

Arsenal fans need to hold onto hope for Sunday

For many supporters, the title is a forgone conclusion, with City simply too good to be stopped by the majority of Premier League teams when they’re in this run of form.

Yet for Arsenal fans, they need to hold onto the tiniest bit of hope for Sunday that something could happen, with a West Ham draw coupled with a win at the Emirates Stadium still enough to bring the title back to north London.

The chances are slim, but Arsenal fans should not give up hope just yet on a miracle happening this weekend, where history could be made with the right set of results.
