Yuki Yanagita and Ukyo Shuto drove in two runs apiece as the SoftBank Hawks rallied to beat the Rakuten Eagles 7-3 on Wednesday.
Yanagita's two-run double put the Hawks ahead 4-3 in the fifth inning before Shuto hit his first home run of the season with a runner on in the sixth at Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi.
Takehiro Hasegawa (2-0) got two outs in relief for the win. Kosei Shoji (1-3) took the loss.
In other action, the Nippon Ham Fighters extended their winning streak to five games with a 12-3 rout of the Seibu Lions.
