Jack Grealish sends eight-word message after Manchester City's 2-0 win against Tottenham

Jack Grealish sent a brief message after Manchester City defeated Tottenham 2-0 on Tuesday.

Fernandinho reacted to City’s victory by stating that his former club had one more game left to make history by becoming the first English team to win four successive titles.

Stefan Ortega also took to social media after his side’s 2-0 win against Spurs to state, “One more [game] to go!”

Jack Grealish reacts after Manchester City beat Tottenham

Grealish was on the bench for the game, returning to the matchday squad after being ill for Manchester City’s 4-0 win against Fulham.

Pep Guardiola decided to opt for Jeremy Doku over the £100 million man as an impact substitute.

Perhaps one of the reasons behind Guardiola’s decision might have been due to Grealish potentially not being fully ready to play.

After Manchester City took one step closer to winning the title by beating Tottenham, Jack Grealish took to Instagram to send a message.

“What a team. What a club. One more.”

The Man City players seem to be in the zone

Jack Grealish sent a similar message to Stefan Ortega after Manchester City earned a heroic victory against Tottenham.

Grealish seems overjoyed by his side’s triumph and understandably so.

But simultaneously, the message within the Manchester City camp seems to be not to get ahead of oneself.

Earlier this month, the Englishman revealed that he has learned the importance of having a game-by-game approach to a season at City.

This lesson seems to be in practice from both Grealish and Ortega.

The title race is not over until the referee blows the final whistle. No club perhaps understands the importance of this message quite like Manchester City with their famous wins against Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa.

As a result, Jack Grealish and the Manchester City players as a whole will perhaps reminding each other that it is time their focus shifts to beating West Ham after their win against Tottenham.
