Tesco is the latest supermarket to recall a product. Customers have been told not to eat it and instead, return it to their local store.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: "Tesco is recalling Tesco Sandwich Pickle because it may contain pieces of glass. The possible presence of glass makes this product unsafe to eat."

The FSA said: "Tesco is recalling the above product. The company has issued a recall notice to its customers.
"These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product."
Tesco told affected shoppers: "We have been made aware that a specific date/batch code of Tesco Sandwich Pickle 295g jar may contain small pieces of glass. Therefore, this product could pose a safety risk if consumed.
Please do not consume this product and instead return any affected products to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.
"Tesco apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused."

Food recalls are not extremely common but must be taken seriously when they do occur.
The FSA said: "If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
"The FSA issues Product Withdrawal Information Notices and Product Recall Information Notices to let consumers and local authorities know about problems associated with food.
"In some cases, a 'Food Alert for Action' is issued. This provides local authorities with details of specific action to be taken on behalf of consumers."

Bead Spread is recalling all chilled foods under brand names "Bead Spread", "Orbital Foods", and "Perfect Bite" as they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The FSA said: "Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea. However, in rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications, such as meningitis.
"Some people are more vulnerable to listeria infections, including those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and their unborn babies, babies less than one month old and people with weakened immune systems."
