Arsenal could be about to unite three players who could dominate world football in five years’ time - opinion

Arsenal have one of the brightest young squads in world football.

The Gunners are already one of the best teams in Europe, and, this weekend, if results go their way, they could be crowned as champions of England.

However, while this season has been brilliant, the future is even more exciting for the north London club.

Indeed, with so many talented young players in their squad, Arsenal will only get better in years to come, and off the back of one transfer rumour, there’s reason to believe Arsenal could be about to unite a truly scary trio.

Benjamin Sesko could be scary for Arsenal

Arsenal are apparently very keen on signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig this summer.

The Slovenian striker looks like a star in the making.

At the age of just 20, he’s already lighting up the Bundesliga, and he’s very much cut from that Erling Haaland cloth.

Standing at 6 ft 5 and possessing incredible pace, Sesko is one of those modern strikers who has it all.

At 20 years old, he has so much room to grow and improve, and if he joins Arsenal, the Gunners’ attack could be so scary in a few years’ time.

Arsenal’s future attack

Sesko coming to Arsenal is an exciting prospect for next season, but if Arsenal can unite an attacking trio of Sesko, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, they could dominate world football in the next few years.

All three of these players are under the age of 23, and if they follow the traditional development path of a top-level footballer, they should all be peaking at the same time about five years down the road.

Martinelli and Saka have already proven they can be dominant in the Premier League, and if they continue to improve with a striker like Sesko in the middle also growing with each passing season, Arsenal could be in an incredible position in a few years’ time.

Saka, Sesko and Martinelli could be the attacking trio that defines the 2020s if Arsenal manage to sign the Leipzig striker this summer.
