Harry Kane has named who is best friend in football is.
Kane has played with a number of players over the years at both club and international level, and he’s formed some strong bonds over that time.
Kane is known to be close friends with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son, but according to the striker, his best friend in the game is actually Eric Dier.
The £4m Tottenham loanee is currently at Bayern Munich alongside Kane, and speaking to Goal, Kane named Dier as his best mate in the game during a game of word association.

“Best Mate?” Kane was asked.
“Eric Dier,” Kane said.

Say what you will about Eric Dier as a footballer, but he’s a very popular player wherever he goes.
Kane isn’t the only player who has named Dier as his best friend in football, Dele Alli has said similar in the past, while the Everton midfielder has spoken about how Dier has helped him out during some difficult times.
Dier has also done plenty of charity work in the past helping young people access sport more affordably, and all-round he seems like one of football’s good guys.
In a time when ego can dominate top-level dressing rooms, Dier seems to be quite a grounded player, and that’s helped him form important and solid relationships with many of his teammtes, including Kane.
Dier is set to join Bayern Munich permanently this summer, and who knows? Perhaps his relationship with Kane will help the German club regain their Bundesliga crown after a disappointing season this time around.
