Ukrainian forces capture Russians in Kharkiv direction

Ukrainian soldiers in the Kharkiv region stormed a building occupied by Russians. Some of the Russian soldiers were captured, according to the command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that this is the result of the work of the operators of the 8th Special Operation Regiment of the Special Operations Forces, together with the fighters of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade. Together, they conducted a clearance operation in a populated area in the Kharkiv region.

Military officials stated that during the operation, four Russian servicemen who had occupied a civilian building and resisted were neutralized. Additionally, two were taken captive.

“The captured occupants will be interrogated and then exchanged for our military. We are working calmly, cautiously, and effectively,” explained the Special Operations Forces.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

Russian troops are actively assaulting Ukrainian positions in the northern part of the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian Armed Forces are effectively repelling the Russian forces, preventing their advancement.

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an offsite military meeting in Kharkiv today. It's noted that a decision was made to strengthen Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
