Jordan Dashwood, aged 21, of Oak Drive, Poole charged with multiple offences linked to incidents in Priory Place in Newbury

A man has been charged with multiple offences including assault that were connected with incidents that occurred in Priory Place in Newbury.

Jordan Dashwood, aged 21, of Oak Drive, Poole was charged yesterday (Thursday) with a count each of assault of a person thereby occasioning them grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The charges are in connection with incidents that occurred on Wednesday, May 15 in Priory Place.

Dashwood appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday and has been released on court bail to appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, June 18.

A 41-year-old from Dorset has also been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and he remains in police custody at this time.
