Watch Celtic heroes blast Zombie Nation as club share more behind-the-scenes celebration footage

The Celtic players and supporters had a superb Wednesday night. After blowing Kilmarnock away with a 5-0 scoreline, the party was in full swing at Rugby Park and later at Celtic Park.

We’ve already seen some snippets from the dressing room and of the fireworks at Paradise as Brendan Rodgers’ champions celebrated.

Now the club have shared lengthier footage on YouTube of all the excitement, including an extended look at the scenes inside the Rugby Park dressing room after the full-time whistle.

The Celtic stars chant various tunes, including the famous Kernkraft 400 song by Zombie Nation that has become so popular with supporters in the terraces over the last 12 years.

Matt O’Riley is on GoPro duties as Greg Taylor climbs on the physio table and leads the choreography. It’s a brilliant watch. Celebrating never gets old, despite the amount of trophies Celtic have won in recent times. The video is embedded below.

Celtic set for epic celebration scenes on Saturday

With 60,000 turning out for tomorrow’s match at home to St Mirren, the mid-week celebrations will be the tip of the iceberg compared to what is witnessed for the trophy lift.

There’ll be a lap of honour, a rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone and plenty more on the go inside Celtic Park.

Then, thousands are expected in Glasgow city centre for more festivities with the warm weather forecast to go hand in hand with all the joy.

The squad had their celebrations on Wednesday night, of course, so after St Mirren they will be fully focused on facing Rangers next weekend in the Scottish Cup final.

That’s not going to be an easy game and the Bhoy have to switch back into mentality monster mode to bring the intensity needed in that derby. It’s going to be a thrilling occasion as these players shoot for a double.
