Dick Strawbridge interrupted] wife Angel Adoree and labelled her "an a**e" as she went off-topic during a conversation the pair shared on the latest instalment of their podcast.
The Escape to the Chateau stars were discussing the journey they often make back to England from France - which can prove "painful" for Strawbridge \- when the 64-year-old made the cheeky jibe.
While the two no longer film the Channel 4 series, fans listen in to what's going on in their lives on their podcast Dick & Angel’s Chat…Eau.
In one of the latest episodes, they reflected on their many trips back to the UK, as Strawbridge began: "We were heading back to the UK.
"We left first thing in the morning, and we got to London at a reasonable hour, didn't we?" Strawbridge asked
"Yeah, this is the thing, with this part of France, when we leave, we could be in London by 11," Adoree, 46, agreed.
"But you always have a really, really good run and all of a sudden it's like, 'Yeah we're in London, a standstill on traffic,' and that last little bit going through the old Blackwall Tunnel," she laughed.
"Yeah, you lived on that tunnel practically, but hold on, come back a step - going home, I think we've mentioned already... we are further north because it's close to home, it's easier to get back to the UK," Strawbridge replied.
He went on: "But we have options - how we get back to the UK, there are lots of different options and different ways of doing it and we sort of settled into a bit of a routine because we have the journey as part of the adventure.
"And that's why we drive from here to Calais, take the tunnel and you got a really good deal on the Flexi [Euro Tunnel Flexi-plus lounge], didn't you?"
Missing the steer of the conversation, Adoree responded: "Yeah, the other thing is that there's three or four ways - do we not want to (talk about that)?"
A frustrated Strawbridge didn't let Adoree's failure to pick up on his cue go unnoticed as he quipped back: "I want to talk about that after...
"I just set you straight up to tell me about the tunnel and you just changed the subject, bl**dy woman!"
Adoree began to chuckle at the scolding before her other half added: "Can you delete that little bit? She's being an a**e and she's not doing as she's told."
The moment was taken in jest by Adoree and the two soon moved on with the rest of their conversation about travel.
There latest discussion comes days after the pair discredited claims they've sold the chateau as "utter nonsense".

"Let's not even talk about the other nonsense," Strawbridge stated when Adoree brought up the rumours during a podcast earlier this month.
"By the way, I've been sat in bed, looked across at Angela and read that we're getting a divorce," he added, highlighting the inaccuracy of reports in the news cycle.
