Instant verdict on Celtic team vs St Mirren

Although you could have argued that the manager would want to keep a settled team on the pitch with the Rangers final around the corner, it’s not too surprising to see so many changes today.

Rodgers is giving game time to those who may have wanted more minutes in recent weeks and months, freshening up the team and allowing key men to rest after a pressurised schedule.

It’s a chance for Kuhn and Palma to impress in particular, with strong competition from Daizen Maeda and James Forrest in recent weeks.

Maik Nawrocki will also be eager to stake a claim with fans getting a chance to check in on his progress.
