Ukrainian Navy tells if Russia deployed missile carriers at sea

As of Sunday, May 19, Russian forces had not deployed missile carriers to the Black and Azov Seas. However, one ship with a salvo of 8 Kalibr missiles is in the Mediterranean Sea, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

"In the Black and Azov Seas, there are no enemy ships. In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 4 enemy ships, including 1 Kalibr cruise missile carrier with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles," the statement said.

According to the Naval Forces, during the last day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Azov Sea: 11 vessels, including 6 from the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Black Sea: 6 vessels, of which 3 continued towards the Bosporus Strait.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian fighters managed to carry out a series of active assaults against the Russian army and improve the tactical situation on the front.
