Pep Guardiola predicts whether Arsenal can win the title if Man City don’t beat West Ham

Pep Guardiola has now shared his verdict on if Arsenal can beat Manchester City to the Premier League title later today.

The Gunners have the chance to claim their first English championship in 20 years if Arsenal can beat Everton and if City fail to get all three points at home against West Ham, an outcome that currently feels unlikely.

City are currently on their longest-ever unbeaten run and have not dropped points in the Premier League since January, with their last loss at all in the Etihad Stadium coming in November 2022 against Brentford.

Yet despite this, Guardiola isn’t reassured just that the title is already in City’s hands.

Guardiola says Arsenal will win the title if Man City fail to beat West Ham

Speaking to Sky Sports, Guardiola claimed Arsenal will win the title today if City fail to beat West Ham, with the Catalan coach not convinced just yet that the job is done for the Manchester giants.

Indeed, for many, the title feels like it will stay in Manchester for a fourth consecutive season, yet Guardiola’s comments could hint that a difficult game could be on the horizon for City.

Guardiola said about today’s final fixtures: “When I listen to the comments now, City are not going to lose. I am thinking, I am honest, completely the opposite. We can lose or we cannot win. That is for sure.

“I think this is the best way to may be consistent. I will have more tension than ever because there is not a second chance. It is the last game and I am pretty sure, I am pretty aware, that if we cannot win that game, then Arsenal will be champions. 100%.”

Arsenal can only focus on getting their business done vs Everton

Arsenal can only do so much today having enjoyed one of their best spells of form ever in the Premier League in 2024, with the Gunners dropping points in just two games all year.

Which is why heading into today’s final fixtures, Arsenal can only focus on getting their end of the bargain done against Everton, where the Gunners could run riot against the Toffees.

Indeed, a miracle could well happen in Manchester regarding West Ham, but given the slim odds, Arsenal can only hope that the stars align ahead of what could be a hectic day.
