Situation in the Kherson region

Part of the Kherson region was occupied by Russians at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson and the right-bank part of the region in the fall of 2022.

Currently, Russian troops are attacking Kherson and the liberated settlements almost daily. For example, on May 17, Russian military struck Stanislav. The vehicle carrying the head of the local military administration was hit.
