What Odegaard and Raya were spotted doing to Arsenal fans during first-half v Everton

Martin Odegaard and David Raya were spotted interacting with Arsenal fans in the opening half against Everton.

The Gunners endured a difficult opening 45 minutes at the Emirates Stadium with Mikel Arteta’s side going 1-0 down due to a deflected Idrissa Gueye free-kick, though Takehiro Tomiyasu managed to level the scoring moments later.

With Manchester City taking the lead within 75 seconds, though, against West Ham, hope of Arsenal claiming a first Premier League title in 20 years currently remains in the balance, with the score at the Etihad Stadium currently at 2-1.

Odegaard and Raya seen encouraging Arsenal fans for support vs Everton

As reported by BBC Sport and Sky Sports, the two Arsenal stars were seen jeering up the Emirates crowd during an injury break, with the atmosphere somewhat flat at the time due to City taking an early lead against West Ham.

With Odegaard and Raya playing such a pivotal role in Arsenal’s Premier League title charge, it’s understandable why the two players were so keen to have the home crowd in full force.

Indeed, despite a quiet start due to City going ahead within two minutes, Tomiyasu’s equaliser coupled with West Ham hitting a late goal before the break at the Etihad Stadium saw the Arsenal faithful explode into life.

And in the second-half, Arsenal fans will need to be as loud as they can if the Gunners are to end the season with a win and potentially the Premier League title.

Arsenal fans can be proud of what’s happened this season

Today might well end in Arsenal being left empty-handed yet again, yet supporters will be more than proud of what the Gunners have achieved this season.

The north London giants have again gone up another level in their bid to become City’s main competitors in the Premier League, with the title race going to the last game of the season in dramatic fashion.

And fans will be proud of Arsenal regardless of what happens today, with next campaign one that promises to be incredibly enticing for Arteta’s side.
