Tottenham’s Richarlison issues hilarious Arsenal dig after Manchester City win Premier League title

Tottenham Hotspur ended the Premier League season with a comfortable 3-0 win at already-relegated Sheffield United.

Spurs travelled to Bramall Lane looking to end the campaign on a high after five defeats in the last six games.

A game against bottom club Sheffield United seemed like the ideal moment for Tottenham and that is exactly how it turned out.

Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring in the first half before Pedro Porro made it 2-0 just shy of the hour mark.

Kulusevski added his second and Tottenham’s third, wrapping up a superb victory in South Yorkshire.

Richarlison appears to mock Arsenal

So much has been made of Tottenham’s rivalry with Arsenal in recent days.

Some Spurs fans wanted to see Postecoglou’s side lose at home to City in midweek, just in order to ruin Arsenal’s Premier League title chances.

Tottenham losing 2-0 to City effectively ended Arsenal’s title hopes and whilst the Gunners beat Everton 2-1 on the final day, it counted for little as City beat West Ham United 3-1.

Arsenal finish second and whilst Tottenham finish fifth, that hasn’t stopped Spurs striker Richarlison from poking fun at the Gunners.

Richarlison has taken to Instagram to simply post a clip of a child laughing, accompanied by a laughing emoji of his own.

We know Richarlison loves to play the pantomime villain, winding up opposition fans and defenders for fun.

Richarlison was seemingly laughing at Arsenal failing to win the Premier League title, really mirroring how many Tottenham fans feel as the season ends.

Postecoglou may want Spurs to stop focusing on Arsenal so much but Richarlison just couldn’t resist mocking Arsenal – and few would begrudge him that as the season draws to a close.

Richarlison may have played final Tottenham game

Richarlison missed out on the trip to Sheffield United.

The Brazilian has picked up a calf injury and not only missed the midweek game against Manchester City but also the final-day clash against the Blades.

The 4-2 defeat at Liverpool – in which Richarlison bagged a goal and assist – was his final appearance of the season and it could yet be his final game as a Tottenham player.

Richarlison is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia and a deal would allegedly see Spurs get their money back on the former Everton hitman.

That would be a shame, but with Postecoglou looking to revamp his squad and a big sale potentially needed for that, Richarlison could be the man to go.
