Missouri needed back-to-back wins on Sunday to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive, which is exactly what they did in dramatic fashion to close out the Columbia Regional at home. Defeating Omaha 1-0 in extra innings thanks to a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth from true freshman Madison Walker to secure their spot in the Supers.
The Tigers defeated Omaha 5-1 earlier in the day to force a win-or-go-home matchup to close out the Regional. A game that wound up being a defensive matchup that finally saw its scoring seal broken in dramatic fashion.
