As many towns across the country appoint new mayors for the year, Chatteris has decided to stick with the one they already have.
Cllr Anne Hay was appointed mayor of Chatteris last May, and will continue to serve the town alongside her deputy Cllr Ian Benney.
Cllr Hay’s consort will continue to be her husband Andrew and she will also keep serving as a district councillor and the county councillor for Chatteris.
Both Cllr Hay and Cllr Benney will continue to carry out civic duties in both Chatteris and at other events around the county.
