For those who remember Eminem rapping about his daughter back in the early 2000s, the pair have now come full circle – with the wordsmith having recently attended the wedding ceremony of the now grown-up Hailie Jade Scott. Jade Scott tied the knot with software developer Evan McClintock on Saturday 18 May, at a ceremony in Battle Creek, Michigan.

While reports indicate it was a relatively small affair packed with close family and friends (including the likes of 50 Cent and Dr. Dre), a precious snap from the occasion has provided Em’ stans across the globe with a small insight into what the special day looked like.
Looking as straight-faced as ever, Eminem donned a pair of black shades as he took his daughter’s hands for an adorable wedding day dance – much to the delight of the onlooking guests.
Spectators on Twitter (X) couldn’t help but notice, however, that Eminem opted to keep things casual – rocking what appeared to be a pair of black sneakers with his tux.

Of course, while everybody enjoyed the sweet picture of the father-daughter wedding dance, there were plenty of remarks about the Lose Yourself penman’s shoes.
“Of course he’s wearing Air Maxes”, laughed one Twitter user – promoting a debate in the replies below about whether the sneakers were in fact Air Max, or Jordan 3s.
“Only Eminem is getting away with wearing sneakers at his daughter’s wedding,” wrote another Slim Shady fan who saw the funny side of things. “Sunglasses and sneakers?” asked another user – “On point!”.
Eminem’s outfit was met with some criticism though, with one user writing, rather harshly, “Like take them shades off weirddoooo”.
