TBR Football understands that Chelsea are set to inform manager Mauricio Pochettino over whether he has a future at the club, by the end of this week.
Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he met with co-owner Todd Boehly last week ahead of the club’s final game of the season against Bournemouth – which they won to secure European football.
TBR understands that Boehly, along with fellow co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano, have been locked in discussions about Pochettino.
Chelsea have been doing their due diligence on potential replacements for months, with the likes of Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim amongst those who they have done work on.

Sources have told TBR that as it stands the club’s hierarchy has been split on whether to continue with Pochettino or not, but they are set make a decision.
Just weeks ago TBR is told that Eghbali had decided that the time was right to move on from Pochettino, but Chelsea’s outstanding end to the season has seen them consider whether to keep the Argentine in place. He has 12-months left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.

It has taken a long time but light appears to be emerging at the end of the tunnel at Chelsea, with Pochettino overseeing wins in their final five Premier League games.
The Argentinian definitely has to take a share of the responsibility for their poor first-half of the season, but he has managed to silence a lot of his critics in more recent months.
Scott Minto claimed that it would be absolute madness for Chelsea to get rid of Pochettino now, and he may not be the only one considering how long it has taken for some of the club’s big-money signings to finally start delivering on the pitch.
There was just enough promise shown in the last few months of this past season to suggest that Pochettino could really kick on next year if given the chance.
