Potential departures and incomings? 14 key deals that Wolves could complete in the coming weeks

14 transfer deals that Wolves could complete in the coming weeks in preparation for the 2024/25 campaign.

The coming summer is a massive one for Wolves. Despite a seemingly good 2023/24 campaign, the season’s end was a relief to many of the Molineux faithful after a dismal run of form.

With Gary O’Neil set to undertake his first full summer transfer window as Wolves manager, it is likely many changes are going to be made.

Wolves’ first-team needs both additions and departures in order to build the ideal squad for next season.

As a result, rumours are now rife with multiple players being linked to and away from Molineux.

This article explores many of these rumours, listing many players that could join or leave Wolves in the coming weeks.

Goncalo Guedes – Out

A Wolves flop – Goncalo Guedes never set the world alight after joining the club in 2022.

As a result, the winger has been constantly sent out on loan and now finds himself at Villarreal. The Spanish side are believed to be interested in signing Guedes permanently once his loan spell ends.

Che Adams – In

A transfer that seems more likely by the day, Southampton striker Che Adams has been linked with a move to Molineux for some time.

However, it now appears that confirmation is close. The striker is out of contract this summer. As a result, it is reported during the talks between Adams and Wolves, ‘both willing to get the deal done’ ready for the upcoming campaign.

Fabio Silva – Out

Things have never worked out for the striker since joining Wolves back in 2020. Both parties look set to part ways this summer with the youngster currently out on loan to Rangers.

It is reported that AC Milan and Sevilla are both interested in Fabio Silva, with Wolves looking for around £20 million for the attacker.

Daniel Podence – Out

Another Wolves man out on loan, Daniel Podence was sent to Olympiacos at the start of the season despite being the Molineux side’s top scorer in the 2022/23 campaign.

In Greece, the Portuguese winger has impressed as they look to lift the Europa Conference League trophy. It is believed that Olympiacos are aiming to sign Podence permanently at the end of his loan.

The Wolves captain is another player who has been linked away. While West Ham were previously interested at the start of 2024, it is the Red Devils who are now constantly linked to the defender.

Man United reportedly want Kilman who they have scouted ‘several’ times during the season.

Armando Broja – In

Armando Broja was linked with Wolves throughout the January transfer window until he ended up at Fulham on loan.

With the striker returning to his parent club Chelsea this summer, it is believed that they would be willing to permanently let him depart.

O’Neil is reportedly keen on Broja, but with Chelsea set to demand around £35 million for the attacker, it remains to be seen if Wolves make a move.

Rayan Ait-Nouri – Out

One of Wolves’ best players this season, Rayan Ait-Nouri is not short of potential suitors this summer.

Man City have been the main club linked to Ait-Nouri with a potential player-swap deal being rumoured. However, Wolves could accept around £40 million for the Algerian international as they look to rebuild their squad.

Pedro Neto – Out

Arijanet Muric – In

Upon Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League, many clubs have began to eye their first-team squad.

One such member is Arijanet Muric, who has reportedly caught Wolves’ attention. The goalkeeper pushed James Trafford out of the starting XI near the end of the season and could be available for £10 million.

Nelson Semedo – Out

The winner of Wolves’ Player’s Player of the Season award, Nelson Semedo had a cracking campaign.

However, with his contract expiring in June 2025 and the wing-back hitting 31 years old later this year, Wolves may look to cash in.

Semedo has become a target for Saudi clubs which could see him follow in the footsteps of Ruben Neves. However, O’Neil has recently stated that he is ‘desperate’ to keep the right-back.

Ben Johnson – In

West Ham’s Ben Johnson is currently set to leave the club in the coming months. The defender’s contract is coming to an end which has resulted in multiple clubs becoming interested in his services.

Wolves are reportedly looking at signing Johnson if contract talks are not resolved.

Joao Gomes – Out

Another outstanding player throughout the 2023/24 campaign, Joao Gomes really came into his own throughout the season.

However, due to his form, the Brazilian international has now been linked away from the club. Man United are believed to be interested in Gomes with Arsenal also keeping an eye on the midfielder.

Jonathan Rowe – In

A new winger is a must this summer, especially if Wolves lose Neto. As a result, Norwich starlet Jonathan Rowe has been linked as a potential replacement.

The winger helped the Championship side reach the play-offs and scored 13 times throughout the campaign.

Wolves are now considering a move for Rowe ahead of the upcoming season.
