£68m-rated 'superstar' who jumps higher than Cristiano Ronaldo suggests he's a big fan of Arsenal after recent links

A £68m forward has dropped a subtle hint that he could be joining Arsenal this summer transfer window.

Arsenal fell just short of a first Premier League title since 2004, as Manchester City won it for the fourth consecutive season.

Mikel Arteta and Edu will now be plotting their business for the summer window and a striker may very much be at the top of their agenda.

With that said, one of their rumoured targets has just dropped a hint about his future.

Brian Brobbey says Arsenal is a ‘very nice club’

Ajax forward Brian Brobbey, who jumps higher than Cristiano Ronaldo, is a rumoured target of Arsenal’s and has a price tag thought to be worth a staggering £68m.

The Dutch ‘superstar’ has netted 22 times whilst laying on 12 assists across 43 outings this term and is expected to be in demand.

Manchester United have been a club long mooted as a potential destination for the 22-year-old but it now seems he favours a move to North London.

Speaking to NOS Jeugdjournaa, via Voetbalprimeur, he said that Arsenal is a ‘very nice club’.

“Arsenal, I think that is a very nice club. If you look at that stadium.”

Brian Brobbey would be a risk for Arsenal

Signing Brobbey this summer would represent a risk for Arsenal, particularly if it requires £68m to be outlaid.

He netted 14 goals last term and didn’t really set the world alight, so perhaps they should focus on other targets and revisit this deal this time next year – if he continues his rich vein of goalscoring form.

Alexander Isak should be the priority signing for The Gunners if they want to go one better next term and win the title.
