Electricity and water supply restore after enemy attack in Sumy

In the city of Sumy, following a night-time enemy attack on the region's power grid, efforts have begun to restore power supply to the homes of local residents. Additionally, water intake facilities are being restored, and water is being supplied to consumers. Public transport is operational, according to the Sumy City Council.

Local energy workers have begun restoring electricity supply across the city from 05:20.

"Also, the operation of water intakes and water supply to consumers is being restored. We thank our energy workers!" - was reported to the city council.

I'm Sumy, trolleybuses with autonomous drive are returning to routes, despite earlier announcements by local authorities that trolleybus services were suspended due to emergency power outages.

Blackout in Sumy and enemy strikes on energy facilities in the region

Earlier in the night, the Sumy City Military Administration reported that due to enemy attack, the city of Sumy was not receiving electricity.

Head of the Military Administration Oleksiy Drozdenko stated that power supply to critical infrastructure objects in the city is being ensured.

Prior to this, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that Russian army has struck Shahed missiles at energy facilities in Konotop and Shostka in the Sumy region tonight. As a result of the attack, there are power outages in the settlements.

The head of the Shostka community, Mykola Noha, wrote on his Facebook page that besides electricity, there is also a lack of water supply in the community.
