Hollywood actress blows talent show audience away - 'Is anyone else confused?'

The Voice contestants battled it out for weeks before the finale arrived this Spring. May 22 marked the night to make or break a performer’s life. Before the season 25 winner was announced, many artists took to the stage including actress Kate Hudson.

Best known for movies including How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Deepwater Horizon, and Fool’s Gold, Kate has been a star of the big screen for years. Now, as she enjoys her forties, she embarks on a different career path. The star showcases her talents on The Voice this May.

The Voice welcomes Kate Hudson

The Voice fans say Kate Hudson has “all the talent” this Spring as she takes to the stage during the show’s finale.

The 45-year-old is putting scripts to one side and picks up the microphone as she fulfils her singing dreams.

Speaking on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, she explained it felt “too much to explain” how it feels having her first debut album, Glorious, come out.

Kate said music is her “first love,” adding: “I’ve been writing music my whole life but I just thought something I’d only have for myself until Covid.”

“I was like wait, I’ll regret not putting it out in the world.”

Fans can’t believe her voice

Asher HaVon was crowned The Voice 25’s winner on Tuesday night – coach Reba McIntyre‘s first win on the show.

But before Asher was revealed as the singing champ, Kate and more performers took to the stage.

Singing from Glorious from her debut album of the same name, Kate had fans blown away by her talent.

Many described her performance as “moving” via X (Twitter), while others shared how surprised they were the star could “hold a note.”

One fan tweeted: “I might have been living under a rock but… who knew Kate Hudson could sing?”

More applauded the star “belting out a tune” dubbing her song “stunning.”
