The destroyed Russian ship Tsyklon (Cyclone) was the last missile carrier in Crimea. However, it is too early to say that the group is absent, according to Dmytro Pletenchuk, head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine,

“There are still many units in the fleet, including cruise missile carriers,” he said.

According to him, the Tsyklon was the last missile carrier in Crimea. However, it is too early to say that the group is already absent or is quite small.

“Yes, they have another problem - the inability to use their boat and ship fleet because of the danger of going to sea. We observe this fact,” Pletenchuk added.

Destruction of the Tsyklon

Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of May 19, the Ukrainian military managed to hit the Russian missile ship Tsyklon, which was located in occupied Sevastopol.

Later, Pletenchuk said that the Tsyklon missile ship hadn't even completed its state trials and hadn't fired any missiles.
