Nene Leakes’ new look has shocked RHOA fans after she underwent nose surgery. Many are comparing how she looked then and now as they tear apart the star’s transformation.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has faced tons of controversy for undergoing plastic surgery. Nene Leakes recently uploaded a new smiling photo – but she wasn’t quite received as the “It Girl”.

Nene Leakes underwent a nose job, tummy tuck and liposuction on season 3 of RHOA. Leakes has since explained that she went to Dr. Stanley Okoro to consider liposuction in February 2024.
She also went under the knife for a mini BBL procedure which involved “fixing her problem areas”. The surgery was performed by the doctor who took fat out of her “bra roll, my stomach, and my sides.”
According to Dr. Okoro’s RealSelf profile, he charges anywhere from $10,500 to $16,000 for a BBL. This happened even though Nene wasn’t previously a fan of the BBL, as she likes the way her booty looks.
Fans react to Nene’s new look
When Nene shared a couple of photos smiling and debuting her new look – including a nose job – fans were gobsmacked and claimed it “doesn’t even look like her”.
One fan wrote, “Nene changing her face is a travesty bc her face was so expressive. Now she looks like a kardashian.” Another penned, “I love you but no ma’am. This is not the look.”
“Who in the hell is this?” asked a confused follower, backed up by another comment that reads, “I miss the old Nene. Why do celebrities do this to their face?”

Nene has always been regarded as beautiful during her time on RHOA, both then and now. Before, she wore a lot less makeup but she’s certainly kept up her pearly, straight white teeth throughout fame.
It was back in 2016 when fans started noticing her face looked different, about six years after she first made her Bravo debut. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that Nene was open about her new face and nose.
